Brown Family Christmas Mini

Merry Christmas & Happy New Year!

I know I am a little behind with the Christmas holiday, but I hope you all have had a Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year!

The week before Christmas, I had the pleasure of shooting some adorable photos with one of my dear friends and her family. It made me really think about how important it is to capture the moments you have with your loved ones.

I remember growing up and my Mamaw had a camera stuck in our faces all of the time. We used to all gripe and complain that she was taking too many pictures, but now I am so grateful that she did. We are able to look back now that she is gone and remember all of the details that we forget as we grow older.

I laugh, because now I am the one sticking the camera in everyone’s faces and trying to continue the legacy that she started. I know that my family will continue to gripe and complain, and my future children will do the same, but it is so important to capture all of the moments you can. That is why I love my job!

I hope you enjoy these family photos as much as I enjoyed shooting them. The Brown’s always make it so easy to capture what being family really means. It’s not always about blood, or where you come from, but about coming together and loving each other in spite of everything.

1 Peter 4:8 – Above all, love each other deeply, because love covers over a multitude of sins.
