The last few weeks have been really crazy with everything related to the coronavirus.
All of the closures, cancellations, and changes have really been hard on us small business owners. But, it has been especially hard on our 2020 seniors who are missing out on walking across the stage at their graduation ceremony.
Thankfully, Alexis and I were able to squeeze in her senior session before everything shut down!
She told me she wanted to do some of the iconic Texas A&M senior shots at the Administration building, so we started there.
The Administration building on campus is the BEST location for amazing lighting. It’s one of my favorites to shoot at. I often forget that there is a beautifully manicured, green lawn in front of it and the building itself makes an exceptional background!
When talking to Alexis about her vision for her session, she mentioned that, while she wanted some of the “normal’ senior photos, her style was more rustic, ranch-chic, and she wanted to do something unique. So, I decided she would be the perfect person to try out a new location I had driven by. Her style paired with a quiet, country oasis did not disappoint!
The green spaces at this location were just GORGEOUS! And then we decided to go down and play in the creekbed!
Alexis attended last year’s National Finals Rodeo (NFR) in December and got a custom jean jacket made while she was there! This was a really special sentiment that we were able to incorporate into her shoot!
We held off getting in the water for a little while, but it was only a matter of time before we both got in! (Don’t worry, I’ll never ask you to do something at a shoot that I wouldn’t do!)
One of Alexis’ favorite country artists is Kacey Musgraves and she was the inspiration for her third and final outfit! Alexis told me she had a space cowboy-themed 21st birthday found these amazing sparkly pants to fit the theme. And they were AMAZING for her shoot!
